Management of the Brinjal Shoot and Fruit Borer Leucinodes orbonalis (Guen.) through Newer Insecticides in Brinjal

Aims: This study aims to find out the most effective newer insecticides control shoot and fruit borer in brinjal.
 Study Design: The experiment of field was carried with randomized block design.
 Place Duration Study: on management brinjal Leucinodes orbonalis (Guen.) were held during October 2018 April 2019 at Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh).
 Methodology: Infestation observed from each plot by counting total number plants infested beginning formation. Total healthy fruits counted five time picking. weight both type (healthy infested) recorded calculate infestation basis. treatments applied initiation till complete harvest crop 15 days interval regularly. data subjected statistical analysis after transformation. count also transformed percentage angular values.
 Results: treatment spinosad 45 SC indoxacarb 14.5 SC1 (suspension concentrate) found best among all 3.42 percent 3.58 respectively chlorantraniliprole 18.5 flubendiamide 20 WG2 least 4.69 4.78 respectively. Treatments significantly reduced 3.11 3.28 Whereas WG (Water-Dispersible Granule) 4.99 percent, infestation, respectively.
 Conclusion: Among used SC, as they higher yield benefit cost ratio.
